Jim Scullin joined Christensen Group in 2008 and serves as practice leader in Alternative Risk Financing. Previously, Jim served as Vice President at Berkley Risk Administrators, a Minneapolis-based Third Party Administrator (TPA). Over his 40-year insurance career, Jim has designed and managed a broad range of alternative risk programs including self-insurance plans, loss sensitive insurance plans, risk purchasing groups and captive insurance plans.
At CG, Jim assists clients in examining whether a loss sensitive program can effectively reduce their cost of insurance without exposing the company’s balance sheet to unwarranted levels of risk.
Jim is a 1973 graduate of the University of St, Thomas. He is married and the father of three adult children.
